Pinoys became proud because of Manny Pacquiao, the 8-division World Champion in Boxing. Even if he was a womanizer, a drug addict, and a gambler (he was into cockfighting), when he had a fight, Filipinos around the world would stop what they were doing (crime rate would be 0% during his bouts) and support the Philippine Champ. It did bring us pride but, the pride went to our heads. And now we have become a shameful lot. Nakakahiya. Even our President can't help himself from swearing during his press conferences, downgrading antisemitism to drug addicts, and commenting on rape as if it isn't a crime. After his win on Marawi, hopefully it doesn't fuel more senseless pride and makes him go off like a ticking time bomb.

5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Be Proud to be Pinoy

1. Filipinos are racist.
Filipinos are a very complicated bunch. They love skin whitening products (let's face it men...maski tayo gumagamit ng ponds, eskinol, at papaya soap) because they all want to be fairer. Pinoys agree with white supremacists, that being white is superior and the fairer you are the better you are(I guess this is the reason why the Filipinos residing in the US voted for Trump). Means you aren't a magsasaka toiling in the sun all day or a fisherman exposed to the wind, salt water and sun which in turns makes their skin dark, leathery, and somewhat smelly. Uy, may amoy yung mga taong yun- it's actually called an earthy musk. It's a pungent odor from the elements and when you do smell it, you know that the person does hard labor. And I know Pinoy-wannabe-aristocrats, they do not want to associate themselves with people like that even if their nanay or tatay is actually one of them(75% of the population is living in poverty). Good thing there's social media. These poor millennials can look, feel and act like the rich and glamorous in the virtual world because in reality, they are dirt poor. So they buy all these skin-whitening products just to make sure their skin can play the part of the facade.

Another thing, the masses make fun of people who speak English. No wonder those nurses failed the IELTS. Instead of practicing their English, they probably mocked other people. Yan ang napala nyo. Pinoys also like to pinpoint certain expats with derogatory local names like tsekwa, Bombay, negro, puti, kana, kano and make fun of Filipinos who speak Filipino with an accent. People have the knack of looking at you from head to toe to check out if you are dressed to impress. And mind you, these are mostly Pinoys that live in the squatters area. What gives?

2. Filipinos are hypocrites.
The Philippines is predominantly Catholic or Christian, leaving 5% to the Muslims, Taoists, and whichever else is out there. For people who do not know this, the Church has always a say in politics. These wrinkly, old bishops and priests who live in their nice sanctuaries equipped with a tennis court, swimming pool and rec areas who don't know what it is to be poor and starving and living on the streets, condemn reproductive health (majority of priests are pedophiles kaya mas maraming street kids the better para mas maraming pwedeng molestiyahin-aminin), condemn divorce (as of late, Philippines is one of the last countries without divorce. OK lang ang null and void wag lang divorce), and condemn homosexuality (ang magnanakaw takot sa kapwang magnanakaw). I have no idea why the have to make sawsaw in issues that are beyond their comprehension. Do they know how it feels to have starving children? Do they know how it feels to sleep on the streets on cardboard? Do they know how it feels to be trapped in a marriage where your husband uses you as a punching bag? Do they know how it feels to disallow people of a certain sexual orientation because it's not Christian? Do they know how it feels to be a single parent (naalala ko yung pari na sumermon sa isang single mother; kung may reproductive health and sex education eh di mababawasan ang mga nabubuntis)? The answer is Hell no! To make matters worse, the congregation of Catholics who are predominantly poor and believe going to Church will ease their suffering (kaya kayo na pa "feeling blessed" diyan, tumigil kayo), eat this stuff up and even take to the streets to rally against the government (even the nuns with the habit- when I see a nun I freak out like they're Pennywise the clown). Mga Pinoy, separation of Church and State. If the Church doesn't want to grow up from it's traditional and obsolete way of thinking, wag nang makisawsaw. Di na si Pope John Paul II ang pope. Di na traditionalist ang pope natin ngayon. Pope Francis is a great pope, one of a kind. To kiss the feet of a Muslim, open the doors to divorced people and allow them to take communion, open the doors to the LGBT community,  to mingle with the people...parang huli ang Simbahang-Katolika dito sa Pinas. To the Church, if you think you are helping the people, you aren't. Leave the law-making to the government. They have input on the real facts, while you (the Church) guys are blindfolded. Kaso, sinasakyan pa ng mga politiko. Kaya nagiging kumplikado ang lahat.

The Pinoys are a self-righteous lot and this is where their hyocrisy stems from. In their minds, they are always right, they never listen, and they never accept blame or fault. For example, traffic situations and accidents- you can see drivers punching each other in the middle of a gridlock because of pinting fingers. Moreover, the Filipinos who love to go to mass and preach about God and the Bible are the number 1 hypocrites (there's a place for you in h*ll; just quoting Taylor Swift). They are the ones who spread rumors or chismis, they are the ones with hate in their hearts (the rich are so mata-pobre), they are the ones who actually go against what they preach about. An example is Senator Manny Pacquiao (yup, he's a Senator) making remarks against the LGBT and instead of condemning the deaths of thousands of drug addicts which he was before, he goes with the flow and agrees that all addicts must go. Makes you wonder what garbage his religion is peddling as he recites quotes from the Bible. Edi wow!

3. Filipinos are in denial, think with their emotions not with their head, and always resist (laws).
Going back to the "whiter is better" perspective of the Filipinos, Pinoys love foreigners (it's all about the Benjamins) but Pinoys hate foreigners who criticize the Filipinos and the Philippines. Hurts to hear the truth huh, mga Pinoy? Di niyo matanggap na tama ang sinasabi? Or all you pinoys will use argumento ad hominem and be defensive? Open your freaking eyes! Men urinate on the walls like dogs, people spit and throw trash some even with human feces anywhere and everywhere, the growing slums area with millions of squatters, traffic, flooded streets during storms, rich people not paying their taxes, the Bureau of Customs earning undeclared billions, politicians who have broken the law allowed to still vie for a position in government, the Speaker of the House having a girlfilriend, and the masses listening to the likes of Mocha Uson who loves to copy and paste her news that came from another country or is one year old. Di ba parang mali? A person who is suppose to be combating fake news provides fake news herself? Di tama yun. Stop living in never never land. You guys have got to stop denying that this country and its people aren't all that bad. It is.

Most of the foreigners who have spoken against the Filipinos have been labeled persona non grata and are not allowed to re-enter the Philippines. One of them is Claire Danes (Terminator: Judgement Day and Romeo and Juliet). She was in the Philippines to make a movie about Thai prisons. She said in an interview that there were roaches in the hotel she was staying. The Filipinos were pissed. What?! Why?! Because she spoke against the Philippines and the Filipinos even if she was speaking the truth. The Filipinos could've just taken it for a grain of salt.

4. Filipinos are bullies of the worse kind and are clearly undisciplined.
The worst cyberbullies in the world are the Pinoys. Diyan pinakamagaling ang mga Filipino. Mom-shaming expectant mothers, body-shaming, nose- shaming, telling people they are ugly (a doctor named Badoy did this), telling foreigners to leave the country and go back home(eh kung sabihin ko sa yo na bumalik ka sa matris ng nanay mo or worse pauwiin yang tatay mo ni Trump) and cussing to kingdom come. They are so courageous behind their gadgets. Keyboard warriors, trolls, millennials and the poor who finally got a cheap gadget armed with Free Facebook, go around social media sites to say very hurtful and offensive things. Minors going around cussing on Twitter and Facebook at older, educated people who cite opinions that exactly aren't in line with theirs. Parents of the millennials- teach your kids appropriate behavior. Their behavior reflects on you. Pag pangit ang ugali ng anak mo, sigurado mas pangit ang ugali nyo. Put your kids on a tight leash. Sheesh!

I was talking to someone about how Koreans are so disciplined. That they were able to pick themselves up from war and now South Korea is developed. I attributed this to the Korean people's innate discipline. I started to point out that Filipinos are the direct opposite. Of course, I was met with hostility about making such a remark but, it's true. We aren't disciplined. The Pinoys have the highest number of illegal immigrants  abroad (tago ng tago) and most follow the law because of fear of deportation. They follow not because of discipline but because they have no choice. It's not innate in the Filipino. Kunwari lang. Puro pasaway.

5. Filipinos do not look back at where they come from.
Rags to riches? There is no such thing as rags to the nuvo rich. And once Pinoys become rich, they start looking down at other people. Nagiging mata-pobre din sila at umpisa rin sila mang-apak ng tao. Instead of remembering the humble beginnings of once upon a time, they put themselves on a pedestal and treat people as if they were animals. For example, those with cars park anywhere even in the handicap spot, no one wants to give way so there's always gridlock, and fits of road rage tend to happen because car owners don't like being cut off. They just got a car and Pinoys act like they are kings or queens. Usually it's the nuvo rich that act this way. It's a sad reality. Akala mo kung sino.

Anyway, the Philippines seems like a lost cause. Hirap maging proud sa dami ng flaws ng Pinoy na napapansin ng buong mundo. Pride chicken na lang ang pinapairal. The people are an epic fail- called FAILIPINOS by some. One writer said the main reason why this country can't seem to progress is because of the people's stupidity.  That's why, sumama kayo sa akin, ang Pinoy Inquisitor, para labanan natin ang katangahan ng Pinoy!
